"Balance' is a poster that captures the relationship between renewable energy and habitat control. This poster displays the possible conflicts between human progress and environmental preservation. My vision and goal with this poster is to raise awareness and start a conversation. The concept of balance is the core of this poster. As a designer, my work focuses on exploring the fundamentals of design. Designed in Photoshop and Illustrator, this poster symbolizes the struggle between both conservation efforts through collage-based graphic design and illustrations. Within the poster there are several key factors that express the importance of balance between renewable energy and habitat control. The wind turbine resembles that of a blade cutting down on the trees. Signifying the stress that these man-made creations can have on ecosystems. Through this poster, I aim to emphasize the importance of conscientious development in renewable energy, while also maintaining biodiversity and protecting the local environment."
